• Where Do I Begin?

  Start by gathering information from books, design magazines, home plan magazines, photographs, or anything else that may inspire you.  Keep your digital camera with you - take photos of houses you like.  Attend open houses and model homes in your area to explore new design and architectural features.

• What Should I Expect at my Initial Consultation?

  Bring any ideas you have gathered.  Brouse through Bayview Design's catalogues of existing home plans to gain a feeling for the design process of your new home.  Ask as many questions as you like.  Plan for a one hour meeting for the initail consultation.

• What is the Design Process?

  Typically, your plans are reviewed at regular intervals through the Design.  Our scheduled meetings would be at the 30%, 60% and 90% complete stages of the project.  Additional meetings can be added if required.  These meetings would be where you make changes to the plans, discuss any issues to your plans, and put any new ideas on paper.
